Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and singer. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". But, she is primarily as a musician. Music is her first love, she claims; it's something that she started dabbling into when she was just 9 years old. As she grew to the age of 12, her music began to take an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. When she was 13 She began to write her own songs. Her first cover album didn't come out until 14 years after. The rest is history. Orrantia is an American native who has Hispanic origins. Though she grew up speaking solely English and has never lived in Mexico she's extremely happy about her Hispanic culture. To keep her heritage alive, she is learning Spanish. She also creates songs using the Spanish language. 'Hasta Verte' a song that she wrote in Spanish is a good example. Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions throughout the summer of 2011. Orrantia, who was initially selected from YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges in Seattle in the live audition stage. While she auditioned initially on her own at "Hollywood Week" She, along with three other female vocalists were put into an ensemble for the remainder of auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the Live show.
