Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her name is well-known for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born into an artistic family. Her first job was as a photography assistant and then turned to modeling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame as well as several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. She was named the best box office star in the world in just three releases. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her name and footprints hand-engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
